Ignition control module interchangability? 200

Volvo part number appears to be: 1357308

I haven't looked to hard for any other part numbers -- It's not clear that this box is made by Bosch anyway. The Bentley manual refers to this type of ignition system as the "Volvo/Chrysler ignition", and later model 240s have Bosch ignition systems.

So I'm inclined to think that it is not a Bosch part.

Do these things fail frequently anyway?
