Are headrests in a '84 240 easily removable? 200

I heard a rumor that there was some sort of catch mechanism whereby one can remove the fixed headrest without having to dismantle the entire seat. This true? If so, do tell. I'm heading off on a 6 hour ride, and I would like to try out the sheepskins from my old 2002. They're not doing me much good sitting in storage while I sort out the car, so I thought I'd see how they fit.
