Temperature-sensitive radio display and antenna 700

The stock tape player lcd display and power antenna in my 89 740GL SW only function properly after the car is warm.

This morning, it was 30f degrees when i left for work, and neither the antenna nor the display would work. In all other respects, the radio is fine. After work, it was about 55f, and it still didn't work, but after driving about 50 miles, the antenna came up and the display came on. They continue to work as long as the car is warm, but shut off when it cools down. Last week when the temp here was 70 or above, they both worked perfectly, functioning as soon as i turned the car on. Now with this cold snap, they're up to the old routine.

Any suggestions?
