Radio Mounting

I just purchased a Pioneer Premier DEH-240F for my 1994 940 Sedan. The audio place sold me some mounting kit that makes the radio deck stick out 2 inches from the original postion. With the new radio I can't read the radio's display!!! Does anyone have experience with getting the deck to sit in its original position???
