Overdrive relay a Solution? 700


I may be confused (I'm not a relay master), but did you complete the circuit permanently with the solution you described? If so, wouldn't you be running the OD constantly? I've read and heard that you never want to engage the OD except in 4th gear...

why not just buy a new relay for the OD? it costs about $30 and is definitely worth the piece of mind knowing you have a brand new working relay in there. just my 2 cents.
