Transmission Pan Removal and Fluid Flush 900 1995

'95-945 96k, AW 03-71L
I finally found some Mobil AFT at Auto Moan. I plan on doing a transmission fluid flush. Before the flush I am going to remove the pan, wipe off the sludge, add a pan magnet salvaged from a radio speaker, and replace the filter, (wire mesh screen), that was "free" with the gasket.
A few questions…The filler tube goes into the side of the pan. After draining. first remove the filler tube mounting bolts then remove the filler tube connection at the pan. Is there a gasket or an o-ring that has to be replaced in the filler tube connection?
There is an exhaust pipe hanger bracket attached between the rear of the transmission and the mount that will cause interference and prevent the pan from dropping straight down. It looks like the pan will have to move forward about 1 inch before it is dropped. Question, will the pan be able to move forward before it's dropped or do I have to do an exhaust pipe mounting bracketdectomy first? This would be a pain. The photo is view of my neighbor's house (from the passenger side) and the interference (?) bracket.
