AH YA, that's the latyer design, I totally forgot about that. The later sender is also more expensive than the earlier design used on my 1985 unfortunately.

Does yours also have that annoying huge plastic screw jobber that circles the edge of the cover plate? I've heard that thing is a pain in the arse to remove, not that the rusted nuts on mine were very easy to get at.

BTW, I did mine in the bitter cold of a VT evening as well... thought myhands were going to drop off. ;)
