Washer Pump - turns on but doesn't pump water 700 1989

My windshield washer hasn't been working for a while. When I pull back on the lever I hear a motor noise, but no water comes out of the nozzles (the wipers work fine). I had the time today to try and locate the problem. I traced the hoses from my windshield all the way to the front left of my '89 740, right next to the turbo. Turns out that both pumps make noise but don't pump water. I've pulled them both out of my car, hoping I can find out why they don't pump. Has anyone ever done this? Is there a way to disassemble these pumps, clean them, and put them back together?
The pumps are made by VDO and fit into the palm of my hand. If I need new ones, home much do they go for, and where can I buy them?

Also, I tried to get the water reservoir out of the corner next to the turbo, but there just seems to be no way. Anyone know how to get the reservoir out?
