First off, have you checked the IPD classifieds for the intercooler?

Not spongy.. the pipe the goes to the elbow is $175 from the dealer alone.. You do not have to put the over boost switch on if you want boost all through the rpm range. yea, the injection system on our cars, K-jet (Bosch Mechanical, Continuous Injection) it is not overly complex, and does not rely much on the computer, mainly for air fuel modification with the oxygen sensor feedback. This fuel system is pretty good, supposedly good for up to 220-250 hp, not quite sure on that number though.

Problems with these cars: Engine wiring harness, water leaks, and rust. These are the major ones. If you search online for how to buy a 240 or something along those lines, they should tell you more!
