oil leak. any suggestions? 200

I am helping my brother in law with his 245ti and we are stuck. We had to pull the turbo to fix the exhaust manifold, and now we have an oil leak at the oil return line where it enters the oil pan. we tried adding a little hylomar to the seal, still not sure it is seating all the way into the oil pan. Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks
