sunroof problems 200

*sigh*

You most likely don't need much more than the pair of cables ($$$$ new) and possibly a gearbox and crank. The gearbox and crank can usually be found on ebay pretty cheap. I think it's pretty easy to remove all this stuff and put it back in. It's just messy, and the cables are a bit tricky.

I'm probably the wrong person to ask since I'm happy enough as long as it doesn't leak. I never got around to putting everything back together properly.. end result was that I removed the crank, and duct taped the thing so it would be water proof. The biggest thing to remember is that it's MESSY. Wear gloves.

At this point I'm pretty hard to miss, with my red sunroof (silver car) and the duct tape comin apart.

Good luck with your future weekend repairs.
