Resoldering OD relay for AW70 200 1992

Yesterday my OD suddenly went away while cruising down the highway. Today I pulled the OD relay and checked it out. I have a jeweler's loupe (extreme close-up magnifier) and went over all the solder connections. They look perfect. Should I disturb this relay? It is mechanical, not solid state--do the coil or wiring or switch ever fail? Or should I start tracing other causes?

Or--the car has 184k. Should I figure this relay is going to die pretty soon anyway, and just lay out the money for a new one?
