Modification questions 700 1987

DO NOT cut the springs of the suspension. It looks OK but the ride is HORRIBLE.
It is becoming hard to find short springs for the 700. (At least in Spain). Try to find a shop that can fabicate them. you must tell the shop the weight they must support, the diametre of the spring, the number of spires etc... or bring the spring to the shop and tell them you want with the same specs. but some inches shorter. Then, try to find shorter shock absorbers. If you use the originals, they would last months since they are not working at regular height.
