Also, I would suggest to unscrew the metal cover that its between the front lid and the front glass. There is a grille that collects debris and stores it allowing rust to eat the bulkhead. I'ts an easy task (a couple of bolts in the bulkhead and the whipers out)and can help a lot. BTW, check too the compression of the cylinders. You might find that even if the car runs ok, the compression of each cylinder mihgt be very different. This would mean that you will need a full rebore soon...
