fuel pump problems 700 1989

Thanks for the advice; I listened to the tank for sounds from the in-tank pump; it's definitely working, in fact it seems to be generating the noise I can hear inside the car (rather than the main pump as I had thought). The wiring on the sender unit cap looks fine, but where exactly are the ground and main wire hookups for the fuel sender?
