Can you actually 'blow out' a motor!!!!! 900

I just purchased a 95 940t with 135,000 on it. I've had it for 2 months now but here within the last month I've done about 2000 miles of interstate driving. Most of my interstate driving consist of 100 mph on a average. I've noticed evertime I do a trip there is a noticable increase in the way the car performs. It seems much peppier more powerful and better fuel economy. That brings me to my question of is there any such thing as blowing out a motor. Does interstate driving actually clean a motor. I do use 93 premium gas and synthetic oil. So am I just imagining this or does it really exist???
