drive shaft vibration 900 1992

Hello everyone,

I just had the rear main seal and the differential pinion seal replaced at the Volvo dealer. The leaks are gone but at about 55 – 60 mph a low pitch high frequency hum becomes audible and I think there is a faint vibration in the body (but I think I can hear it more than I can feel it). This gets worse as speed increases. I put the car in neutral but there was no appreciable sound and feel difference. Is it the drive shaft? Did they over tighten something on the pinion? Coincidental muffler leak? I would like to take the car back knowing something about the possible sources.
