94 960 ECT sensor - Help! 900 1994

Poor idle, flooding, racing idle, stalling, all appear to be classic symptoms as per FAQ. Codes flashed 121(AMM) and 123(ECT sensor). Replaced AMM, codes now only flash 123. Symptoms still there, but only when engine heats up.(Never had cold start probs symptom as per FAQ) I need basic help like where IS this thing (how far buried is it under the intake manifold?), pointers, help!
