i would really tihnk that was a speaker or wire problem. hook the speakers up to your home stereo or something to see if they work. if they still work fine, change your wires. if you've already done that... i guess it could be the amp, but its very peculiar. also, if you traced the wires back to the amp... could you tell me what the colors of the speaker wires were? that'd help me out a bunch.
