Side mirror sag 200 1986

"Honey, i just KNOW that side view mirror is moving...."

the passenger side mirror keeps losing its position. With driving, it eventually droops down and repeatedly need periodic adjustment.

Is there some way to tighten something in there so it holds it position?

How do you get it opened up?

Also, Can the side mirrors on the 86+ fit directly replace the older style "paddle" style mirrors on earlier models?
