240 turbo questions 200

Well I finally found an 84 242 turbo. For those of you out there who are in the know on these I could use your opinons and experiences. The following items are the thing I have questions about:
1. There is an exhast leak at the manifold, broken stud or manifold??
2. The sunroof is stuck in a recessed postion, it sits below the roofline, and somtimes leaks when it rains, any suggestions about a cure for that?
3. The owner, soon to be seller, says that every now and then, the started will "screech" when cranking. Could that be a flywheel with a few broken teeth, if so anyone ever replaced it?
4. In tank fuel pump whines slightly, what is it to replace the pump? remove the back seat?
5. The leather seats are trashed, but the rest of the interior, execept the back speaker panel(major sun damage), is in really good shape. Anyone have suggestions about what they did with their seats?

I have a 86 245 with 412K on the clock, so I am no novice to 240's. This car has absolutly no rust any where, at all. Very remarkable. Been very well manitained all its life. Turbo was replaced about 3 years ago, car was used for short city driving. which brings to mind another question. What maintenence should I look to do to keep the turbo alive. Oh by the way, I getting it for $1000.00.
