Transmission mount is the root of all evil!!!!! 700

Thanks to all of the help from this board and the FAQ I have solved most of my problems. The transmission mount was falling apart. Order a new mount from FCPGROTON and got it within a few days. Pulled the old one out yesterday and I could pull the center section out of it. The thing was totally wasted, with only 113,000 miles. Took about an hour with plenty of motivating words since I could not find an easy place to put the jack. Could tell a major difference just idling in the driveway. Car now idles much better, drives 100% better all around. Start from a complete stop is so smooth, tranny shifts smoother and there is a lot less engine noise. Not sure how but it also cut down alot on the exhaust noise. It is like driving a totally different car, no more rattling from the console or the radio/pocket area. Oh yeah and that loud ass roaring noise ont he freeway is gone too. So I can say to anyone, If you are having any of these kinds of problems and have not checked the tranny mount yet buck up and get yourself under that car. Paid $10 for the mount and well worth it.
