Well, okay...I am back in the category of bonehead. Not for hooking up the jumper incorrectly but for insisting the jumper was in working order when it was not. All I can say is the light in the switch came on whenever I switched it on but I guess it just can't pass enough current or something. Obviously, electrical is not my forte.
Got that damn fuel pump to work with a good jumper. It sang like Valachi.
