automatic transmission drain question - not flush 700 1990

If I drain the transmission using just the plug, how much fluid can I expect to have to use to refill it? I believe this is an AW70 or AW71 transmision. I'm not going to do the flush technique of disconnecting the return line. I'll just replace the fluid a little more frequently and hopefully that will cycle out the other dirty stuff eventually.

Also, how difficult would you say it is to replace the mounts while I'm down there? There was another thread recently about the tranny mounts and someone recommended doing the tailshaft bushing (is this the output shaft?) I'm pretty mechanically inclined and don't mind getting a little dirty for this job at all.

Yes, I know I should really go and find a manual for my car, which is my other question, which one should I get? They don't seem to have a Haynes manual for a 1990 740.

Thanks everyone!
