Stalls when you give it gas at idle only on first start... bertone couple 200 1980

Hey hotshots tell me what the deal is.. my 262 Bertone Coupe (this means the engine is the Barf28 V6) is my new baby... when you Fisrt start it up (sometimes it can be a little bit of a bitch to get started) it idles around 1500.. seems to run fine.. like it doesn't run too rough.. but as soon as you step on the gas the revs drop and the car will stall if you continue to hold the pedal down... however after like 20 or 30 seconds of running you can rev it without it stalling or dropping the revs.. usually once you put it in gear and first jump on the gas it kinda bucks a little and the revs drop before it seems to get its ass into gear and takes off..

Keep in mind this is when you start the car.. not when its cold but when the car has been off and it is started again.. it does it when it is cold but it also does it when its hot to... once you get past that point it seems to run ok.. there are still problems but I am fairly sure they are unrelated becuase after it is running "right" you can rev till the engine blows at idle and it won't try to stall out... what should I be looking for.. maybe the cold injector is sticking open or some shit... lemme know what tha damn deal is man... thanx
