Yeah, I'm trying to convince my friend to have a go at the other side, too. Still, they're 46 euro ($40 including tax) for the set, and it's a car due to be sold off soon, so the goal here is to minimize capital investment. Might put the old bearings in the other side, they seem fine.

Yes, the set was replaced: inner and outer bearing, rubber seal and the metal ring, and the pin.

Motor mounts seem find, although we're going to put it on a hoist and check the exhaust. I would be highly surprised if the fan is striking anything, but I'll check nonetheless. Thanks.
