1995 960 Rear Headrest Removal. 900

Thanks everyone for your replies.
Since there is no easy or efficient way of removing the headrests we simply pre-adjusted the tether straps as tight as we could (until no slack)and slipped the straps btwn the headrest and top of the seatback. After that we strapped on the seatbelts. Seems to have worked out pretty good. We'll be moving the child seats from one car to another often, it seems like a real pain to have to keep removing the seats, and headrests everytime.
Seems odd to us that Volvo didn't include (ALR)automatic locking retractor seatbelts. Our other car has them and installing the car seats is a snap and takes just a couple of minutes as opposed to 15-20 to get everything right on the Volvo.
