Where is the flame trap on a 92 940 B234? 900 1992

I spent 1 hour this weekend looking for the flame trap, where is it?
I bought one (the filter) and looks like a white cylinder with many holes drilled through it. I understand it is housed inside a cylindrical container... where is this container?

I understand that there is a hose between intake 3&4 going to it... Are 3&4 the two nearest to the firewall or nearest to the front of the car? How fat are the hoses that attach to it, like a pencil or thick ones like my thumb? Is this cylinder attached to the inside of the wheel well in the engine compartment, or to the firewall, or just floating held by the hoses?

I did find one small canester approx 1 inch long that had a hose on one end connecting to the top of the intake, and the other end going down along the firewall.. this canester was half white, half black. I tried opening it, but could not. Was that it? If not, what is that one for? How large is the one containing the flame trap I am looking for? How many hoses are coming out of it?

Please help,
Greg
