760 vs 740 & 940 to buy 700

What is your take on the 850's?? She likes those alot and even test drove one over the weekend. It was a little beatup and had 187K. Thy still wanted $7,000 for it. She is looking in the 6-7 range for price, so I thought the 940's would be the ticket, but she does like the 850's. Thanks for the input.
