OD Output flange 140-160

I have been doing some research for you well not really but have found to my detriment that the 75 240 output flange has a slightly different shaft and spline size than the 71 140, I also know the early ( 61 62 etc) spline is different again. I successfully put a 69 M41 mainshaft in a 75 M40 case with the bigger layshaft so I assumed the mainshafts were the same, it seems not, if you go to
