Thinking of purchasing 940 Turbo-Thoughts!Help! 900 1995

That's practically a new car, so if it's OK now (you might want to have it checked by a mechanic) I'ld say you're probably pretty OK in the short term. Try to find evidence of a timing belt change - although they're specced for 50-100K they're also time-limited parts, and at 7 years I'ld consider replacement if such hasn't been done yet.

Otherwise, Steve's excellent 700-900 FAQ provides a pretty good list of what to look at maintenance-wise when buying a used 700 or 900.
