wacky speedo 900 1991

Hello all,

Yesterday the speedo on my 91 940GL sedan started acting crazy. I started the car and the speedo started dancing all over the dial but the car was sitting still and was still in park. At one point it sat on about 75km/h for a few seconds then dropped to zero.
When the car is moving the speedo acts normally like it's supposed to.
I also noticed that while the starter is cranking the speedo flicks about.
After reading the FAQ I know I seem to have an electrical problem. One post referred to instrument cluster grounds. Where are these located? I'm going to pull the instrument cluster out and check and tighten all connections but can anyone offer any other hints as to where I should look?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Brad
