Amsoil Advice Needed

Yes, the Series 2000 0W-30 should not worry you. The 0W only means it has the low temp flow properties to meet the standards of a 0W oil when cold. It has NOTHING to do with how well it protects when hot.

The thing most people don't know, is the SAE grade (10W-30, for example) has nothing to do with how an oil protects, lasts, cools, cleans, carries contaminants, etc. The store you are dealing with should have some nifty brochures about motor oils from SAE grades to API ratings, what the constiuents of motor oil do, etc. If they won't get these brochures for you, shoot me an email.
