Id also here if you find the AMM is not bad, check the Turbo Hoses out, my turbo hoses blew one day while my wife was driving it and all hell broke loose and i could only get it to 1500 2000 before it got pretty upset either died or wanted to backfire on me, once i replaced the hoses everything went back to normall. By the way a good way yo tell if your intank fuel pump took a crap is if you get below half a tank or so and you hit it hard and it hesitates and then get up and go thats a tail tail sign.
