Yeah, them. I always understood the purpose to be the test port for the emmissions inspector to insert the test probe.

Could be the location of an O2 sensor, though. I don't have the need, so, I don't know. Most O2 sensors I know about are located on the exhaust manifold.

But if you're in California, well.....

Point is, Bosal is a good brand, and make sure you put sealant on the threads of the plug so it won't vibrate out.
