Lost anti-freeze - need to find problem 700 1989

I own a 1989, 740 Turbo with 134,000 k.m. . Recently had a flush and fill and new thermostat. I just returned from a 2 hour highway drive today and parked in the driveway. Lost about a half litre of anti freeze in the driveway. Seemed to splash in the batery area and on the gas filter. I looked underneath and tightened the nut on the bottom of the radiator which seemed a little loose. Could this be the problem? What kind of anti-freeze do I use to top up the radiator? Appears the the existing anit-freeze is turquoise, Volvo anti-freeze.
Must i use sxame type? Do i add it to the overflow tank?

By the way, water pump area was dry as were the hoses on top of radiator and the overflow tank.
