Hot start problems with a twist 700 1988

Check the following:
-Do you seem to have a rich mixture when this happens? If so, suspect the ECU temp sender.
-Try having a mechanic put a scope on the secondary ignition pulses and find out what is going on. Pulling the coil wire will delay the spark pulse slightly as voltage builds to junp the gap: this may be the problem. You may also have a fault with the ignition power stage leading to poor secondary pulses. But only a scope will tell.
-Finally, how is your engine wiring harness? Any shorts or grounds? Bad connectors?
