Jay,
There is a Volvo specific book for these trannys, but I stongly suggest forgetting it exists. The AW (Asian Warner .... AKA Asia's version of Borg Warner so to speak) is the most common import tranny out there from Toyota to Isuzu. There are several books actually. My suggestion is to call either of those 2 numbers I listed & ask for the best novice book they have (Trans Mart will even give you the info to get it yourself if you wish, but Trans Star won't). The thing is to read the book cover to cover b4 touching the tranny (it's short). I'd even go so far as to suggest you get the service updates manuals (same location).

I'm only able to get to the PC on weekends & not all @ that, but I'm always happy to assist when I can, so feel free to drop me an email or post here.
