blown rear diffy ? 200

well after finally swapping in a new tranny & welding up the crack in the exhaust the wagon is worlds quieter. of course right after changing the transmission the problem with the rear end (or so i suspect) has gotten considerably worse. when i accelerate after turning a corner (90 degree intersection type turns) the back of the car seems to buck and not transfer any of the power from the engine to the ground and i have to and i have to push the clutch in & re-try to accelerate slowly a couple times before i can really get going. i can't feel any of the jerking or bucking through the shifter, so i figure it must be coming from the rear end. is it possible i have a failing limited slip rear end ? or am i overlooking something as simple as a clutch adjustment ? oh 'n' the car is an canadian '82 245 w/ the b23E engine & an M46 w/OD
thanks
