242 turbo questions 200

Brought the car home friday, after cleaning and degreasing I found a car in really goos shape.
A couple of questions to 200 turbo owners and/or past owners
1. Is there an easier way to get to the oil filter?
2. At 60mph I am turning about 2700rpms. Is that normal?
3. This car doesn't have a lot of low end power (its an auto), any suggestions or are all auto not real responsive? Top end is....ok.
4. On my 245 there is a flame trap. This 242 is an 84 model, does it have a flame trap? If so where is it?
