back-up lights are out!! 200 1987

I was recently reaer ended in a big crazy collision on the street. Some idiot hit the gargantuan ford expedition behind me and shoved him into the back of my wagon.

Anyway...
The brake lights didn't work for a while. At first the bubl out light wasn't lighting up. Then it did, then it didn't, I pulled out the Chiltons read up on the electrical system, and then the brake lights all worked again.

Okay, so now only the reverse lights don't work. THe bulbs are intact, and the fuse blows as soon as I turn the key to the ready to start position.

But all the other lights work, brakes, turn siganls, running lights etc.

Any ideas where to start looking? Or should I just go to the mechanic?

Thanks as always to everyone.
