V6 Engine Identification.. 200

Hi Jason

The B27F was offered in the US (low power 125hp)these engines had the same twin box intake manifold as the B28E and should have a air pump fitted on the left hand tappet cover at the front. The B27E has a big round air cleaner that nearly covers the whole engine. The 262/264/256 had the B27E fitted in cars from 75 to 79 and the B28E was fitted in cars from 80 to 85 on the Australian market. The 760 had the mechanical injection fitted up until around 87 and in 88 the B280E was fitted to all 760.

B27F 122/125 hp
B27E 140 hp
