Converting 164 Carbs 140-160 1969


There's an article in the archive that says to the
effect that such a conversion doesn't work super
well. It looks like there is lots of manifold that
will get soaked in gasoline, especially since the
manifold is *not* designed to have fuel in it there
may be problems with pooling gas in weird places.
On the other hand, I've seen lots of american inline
sixes with manifolds that look like they'd be
pretty bad (like those slat six manifolds with one
carb).
