Ign. Module: Source of miss and hesitation 700 1987

Believe I have finally found the gremlin. This is on a NA B 230. It has had a miss or hesitation under load for ages and I have replaced or traded just about every possible item. Purchased a new power stage and plugged in (aftermarket) and this seems to have cured the problem.

This has been one of the most tough to diagnose problems I have encountered. The car only has 67K miles so you would not think things would be bad. I do realize that solid state materials deteriorate over time----
