Converting 164 Carbs 140-160 1969

The word for exchange in swedish is "UTBYTES eller + 1500" which
means "exchange or add 1500kr"

Scandcar.nl has a B30 short block for 1355 euro (they don't mention
a core charge) and a B30e head setup for unleaded and LPG for 449 euro
and a k grind cam plus lifters for 227 euro. There are places in italy
that will ship whole vespa scooters to L.A. by boat for $290 (plus
some extra for documents)

How much extra power you think is added by the B30 3.3 over the
standard 3.0?

To get somewhat back on topic, though, I think that there is not
much advantage to going to some other carb setup over the stock
CV carbs like the ZS or SU carbs (ie going to some downdraft carbs).
The only thing that really makes sense from both a power and a
reliability standpoint is to adapt the factory D-jet bits to use with
a modern EFI controller. To go to webers or something similar
would require a manifold that's much more expensive than the stock
FI manifold, require expensive carbs (over rebuilt d-jet injectors)
and you'd still have carbs. The injection setups that use manifold
pressure and throttle position (with motor / air temp and an O2
sensor if you want) really seem like the way to go. (if you don't
like the SU/ZS carbs, that is).

Does volvo still sell longblock B30s?
