760 speedometer 700

The white/white-red wire *should* be the connector that goes to the tach. Hook that up, see if things work.

I'm not familiar with the 700 series, but alot of the same things apply. You might remove the cluster entirely and root around for floating wires behind it. Then check the wires you have against the connections on the back of the cluster so that you KNOW where things go.

I reinstalled the cluster in my 240 the other night, in the dark, without a flashlight. I've done it a couple of times, and so I knew where each wire went as I grabbed it. Easy as pie.
