Converting 164 Carbs 140-160 1969

My idea is not original, I drove one with a much more primitive version of the conversion, and like 40/40 weber, or 42/42, something like that. It started cold almost instantly with one pump, had a little less low rpm response than my '72 164e, but an incredible power band from about 2000rpm on up. The guy who did it used a stock FI block with a carb head, I'll be trying it out on a stock '75 engine with the larger valves. I expect to try it in the next month. I'm looking more to set up a reliable power train for my mint '70 with the standard flat cam, along with the AT to M410 conversion, without plumbing and wiring in a D-jet setup. It may end up with HS6's, but I don't like the crappy iron intake/exhaust manifold.
