Fuel problem?? 200 1983

Doug,
I had the same problem with my 245 last year. Ran fine until engine got hot and I had stopped 2 or 3 times shopping. Then it wouldn't take throttle without running rough. Took it to the local Volvo specialist. He came out with a spray bottle with water and misted the plug wires. Engine immediately started misfiring.
"Plug wires" he said. "Get genunine Volvo, cause the aftermarket ones will go bad after a year or two." (I had replaced mine with ipd ones 2 years before.)
With all 5 wires replaced, it has run like a champ since.
