Overdrive kick out 700

I know this must be in the Faq section, but I must be tired because I can't find it. To wit, driving home from work tonight, hit the highway, shifted into overdrive, about 1 mile, maybe less, down the road it momentarily kicked out of overdrive and then went back in on its own. Worked fine the rest of the way (30 miles). Previously, I have had it fail to engage twice; push button, nothing happens, wait, and then on its own engages after perhaps a count of ten. My concern is whether this sounds more like a relay issue or mechanical. I just pulled the od relay and all the contacts are clean and bright. Thanks in advance for any help.
