Solution to 960 Moon Roof Problem 900 1994

I played around last night a got my moon roof to work. It has nothing to do with the headliner. I’m sure during it’s removal I bent the wind bar. Under the fabric of the moon roof there are two points minor adjustment can be made. However, I found the wind bar to really do the trick. If you look at the picture you can see where I had my hand. I simply bent the outer tips up on both sides. When the roof comes forward now, it hits the push-down arms sooner, hence leaving clearance to close properly. In my case I had run the roof up against the wind bar dozens of times. Of course it hits first in the center bowing the wind bar. So I would just bend up the ends a little at a time until desired results have been noted. I hope this helps. Let me know how it comes out.
